Those of you that didn't gather the steam to go on this past weekends AT trip missed a memorable hike.

If you like to be wet for several days on end than this was the trip for you. We meet our shuttle driver (old Dave from Mt. Rogers Outfitters) at 9:30am Friday morning. Skies were overcast and looked threatening. Dave shuttled us to Partnership Shelter, Headquarters and we hit the trail heading south with light rain. The light rain continued ALL day and ALL evening until Saturday morning about 7am. Humidity was 200%. Were we wet? Does a bear live in the woods? Posted by Picasa
